Convient Truth

I spend quite a bit of time on the internet each day, reading blogs, tech news and what not. I can't help but realise that one cannot go about their normal net live without someone trying to stuff fud in your face, spreading shit like butter on toast.

There are a few sites that I visit for my daily doses of tech goodness, mainly the ones that has up-to-date news on gadgets, technology and science. I always thought geeks and scientist has similar mindsets (since they are both supposing-ly well educated): impartial, non-bias, makes decision based on well observed facts. It turns out that I was just being naive...

Articles like this are all over the internet, or should I say "mindsets like this are all over the world". I started to read gizmodo instead of engadget due to the non-stop faggotry in engadget. But the editorial dictatorship and the number of "my shit dont stink/ its a-ok for my shit to stink but not yours" type of comments on gizmodo that's given me a big wake-up slap in the face.

We were born into this world, learning the laws of nature and man-made rules to live by as we grow old. We learnt that there are truths and lies, but where along the line did we learnt to "pick and choose" truths, buffet style? Comments like "Our western world's free speech is under thread, but your equally threaten free speech just isn't acceptable" pops up everywhere. I will go into more details about "free speech" in another post, but if people think other people's system needs to be fixed, shouldn't they do or at least think as such for their own systems?

If I continue on my rant, this post will become too long and boring to read. So I'm going to end this post with the rules that I have set for my blog: Not to be bias, No political debate posts, Only hard facts backed up with references. I will provide truth to my readers, if they feel like they should take a side then by all means, do it. But ignoring/undermining truth is just lying to oneself, which can only hinder your mindsets.
